Course Summary:

Emotional intelligence is essentially a set of competencies that enhance your ability to relate positively to others. Unlike your IQ which is typically set by the time you’re a teenager, your emotional intelligence (EQ) can be improved upon throughout your lifetime. People with high EQ typically make you feel at ease and understood, they have the ability to stay calm in the face of adversity and crises, communicate their thoughts and feelings authentically, and are adept at using empathy for constructive communication. Being around someone with a high EQ will cause you to take your usual defenses down, feel more inspired to share openly, collaborate, and take instruction and feedback with greater ease. In this course you will learn tools to help grow emotional intelligence within yourself to help empower you within your job and in your life.
